If you want to switch versions, please un-install current instance using the Windows Control Panel "Add/Remove Programs" feature. Look for RepairShopPro in the programs list, then right-click and select "Uninstall". Now go back and re-run the Demo installer.

The Demo data is from a fictious repair shop. It has no relation to an actual customer. It's used solely for demonstration purposes only.

Hardware Requirements

Nearly any modern computer with adequate memory will do in most cases. 64 Bit computers generally do best with 4GB RAM and 32 Bit computers can work with as little as 2GB RAM. However, the rule of thumb is the more the better with Microsoft .NET applications. If you're shopping for a new computer, then get the best you can afford. RepairShopPro will thank you for going the extra mile.

RepairShopPro uses a floating layout so it will adapt to most monitors and laptops. To see the full dashboard expanded with all panels visible, you will need about 768 pixels of vertical resolution which equates to about a 14" rectangular monitor. On very small monitors, like Tablets, unused panels can be collapsed, resized or scrolled to optimize space. On 9-10" Tablets, the entire workspace is visible with the Tree and Dashboard collapsed.

Using RepairShopPro Outside the US

In some cases, the Windows version will work outside the US. The captions will still be in English, but it will show correct currency symbol, date-time and phone number formats. Currently, the following Windows Region and Language settings are known to work or we have customers there. * Requires invoice plug-in available in Links section.
